European Championships in Athletics: three Ukrainians qualified on the first day
The European Athletics Indoor Championships started in Torun, Poland. On the first day, no medals were played – only qualifying competitions were held.
Of the five Ukrainians who competed in the qualification that day, three made it to the finals of their disciplines.
Vladislav Mazur with a score of 7.85 m reached the final with fourth place in the long jump.
In the high jump Dmitry Nikitin it was enough to conquer the bar at a height of 2.21 m to reach the final, but Oleg Doroshchuk was not among the best 8 in the qualification 1xbet APK hit – he conquered 2.16 m, but the bar at 2.21 m was knocked down three times.

But Artem Alfimov finished sixth at a distance of 1500 m in his race – 3:44.03 minutes – and did not make it to the final.
