The horizontal axis refers to the number of cars washed. The school farther along that axis is the one that washed more cars.

Which school has raised the most money so far? How do you know?

As in part (a), you will need to compare the dots' placement on the graph. In this problem, pay attention to the vertical axis, since this one refers to dollars earned.

**Additional Challenge:**How much is each school charging to wash one car? Show your work to justify your answer. To determine how much money each school has earned, you need to divide the amount of money earned by the number of cars washed.

Maywood Middle School washed

cars and earned . That means they made per car. Now follow the same process for Tolt Jr. High.
