Any resident who drinks alcohol or uses drugs must be immediately expelled. Calls to our helpline (non-facility specific 1-8XX numbers) for your visit are answered by Rehab Media. Transitional housing is temporary housing for the working homeless population and is set up to transition their residents to permanent housing. Residents are ofter referred from treatment or other clinical or judicial settings, but many residents self-refer to our homes. We do not show halfway houses, treatment programs, or rehabilitation facilities. Seasonal offerings like rowing, kayaking, and sailing, along with tradition holistic pursuits, like massage, Reiki, Tai-Chi, Qigong and meditation are all designed to bring joy back into a person’s life. At our sober living program in Massachusetts, people find the structure and support they may need to abstain from drug or alcohol use and stay on the right track. Vanderburgh House Is A Recovery
Located in Attleboro, MA, this freestanding residence houses 13 men. The program is funded by the weekly fees paid by the residents and is supervised by an on-site house manager. The goal of this component is to move residents closer to their ultimate goal of independent living, through self-help participation, employment and other daily activities, and continued recovery from substance addiction. The length of stay is indefinite providing that residents are in compliance with the house policies and procedures. All eligible ATR participants must be referred to this service by one of the authorized ATR referral portals and if accepted, will work with an ATR Housing Coordinator to find a sober home that meets their needs.
